The Carolina Panthers released veteran cornerback Dane Jackson on Friday.Jackson spent four years with the Buffalo Bills before signing with the Panthers last offseason. He was placed on injured reserve during training camp with an ailing hamstring before returning to record 23 tackles and two passes defensed in nine games (three starts).
